VERY GOOD HOTEL

I stayed at this hotel for a few nights in July 2024. The hotel has undergone a huge renovation. Beautiful, modern rooms, very polite staff. One of the better hotels in the area.

THE AIR CONDITIONING DOES NOT WORK FROM 5 AM TO 12:00 AM. This makes the rooms very stuffy - and after coming from a party, you would like to go to bed in an air-conditioned room. It seems like a detail - but very important.

All staff were very friendly from welcome to departing.

No fault of the hotel but for two days there was loud construction sounds outside the hotel.

Exceeded expectations - will be back!

Really wonderful 5-night stay! I was so impressed from the minute I walked in. The reception staff are outstanding and welcoming which is always a treat. The hotel gives off that typical beach vibe ambiance. Beautiful pool area with comfortable sun loungers. My room far exceeded my expectations. very comfortable and spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool area and distant ocean. Lovely, simple and laid-back breakfast. Walking distance to the beach and entertainment spots. Little further walk if you want to head out to visit the Dunes and beaches beyond the Dunes- but so worth the walk! Everything is easily accessible especially to and from the airport. I will most definitely be back!!

Regarding the bathroom Toiletries... there was no Shampoo/Conditioner/Body cream supplied in the bathroom- I usually bring my own however for a 4-star hotel I imagined they would have provided these. However, this was a small issue and didn't interfere with my holiday at his fab hotel!! :) (Would be great if these could be supplied!)

Wonderful People But Anything Else Has To be Improved

The personnel is a main advantage of this property. It feels that all people are carefully selected. They are friendly and ready to help. A new gym is the best gym I have come across on Gran Canaria with good selection of Technogym machines.

The machines in the gym are all covered with construction dust (and there are no wipes or anything available to clean them). The dirty corridor floor on the 5th floor was never cleaned within my 5 days stay. If the hotel positions itself as 4 stars it should provide hand soap, shampoo, shower gel. There is only a dispenser in the shower with some cleaning substance but I am not sure what it was as no any signs on it. You can't use coffee machine during breakfast by yourself and personnel did not offer coffee 2 days out of 5. Overall it feels more like 3 star hotel which rushed to open while refurbishment has not been completed yet. While neighboring properties are more dated and personnel not that friendly they provide better service with greater attention to detail and cleaning standards.

Very nice hotel . A bit of room to improve .

Overall I liked the property very much but here were a few cleanliness issues, on going issues with my room key, and some dirty water fell from the balcony above me onto my balcony causing a big mess.

Freshly renovated hotel with a cozy lounge and pool area!

Everything is recently refurbished. Design style is simple, clean and modern. Nice material use! Restaurant and bar downstairs are light and open, there is outdoors seating area. Poolside is comfortable and spacious! Breakfast was good with nice little “eggs&toast station”. Room is really spacious and anything higher than 2nd floor has a balcony! There was a fridge and safe in the room! Extra pillows ans blankets too! Staff was absolutely amazing! Any request I might have had was answered quickly and professionally! I was not expecting such a nice hotel for this price! Very positively surprised!

There came some renovation sounds from the front of the hotel by the road. But they didn’t start before 9 in the morning so no sleep was lost! :)

Definitely recommend

The staff was very friendly and offered us a welcome drink. Breakfast was very good. Overall, the facility was very clean. 15-20min walk to the beach in Playa del Ingles, but there shuttle buses offered as well.

There was no such a thing.

Good stay

Nice pool area and jacuzzi (when it worked). Room a good size with a large television, but limited channels unless you logged into your own Netflix, Amazon etc account. Very nice shower - powerful and hot, if required. Sensible air-conditioning system, bur would help if instruction were provided. Breakfast is excellent. Simple, but everything you require. Overall, staff friendly and helpful. Location was good even though quite a walk to the sea front. Plenty of restaurants etc near the hotel. Did B&B based on previous reviews. Glad we did as for the price the hotel options were limited and not very appealing. Also, there is just so much choice outside the hotel

Water quality of the pool needs to be checked. I ended up with norovirus after swimming in the pool. Considered all possible causes, and the swimming pool seems the most likely source. Some staff need to be more helpful. Asked about the jacuzzi not working and nothing was done about it. 4 star hotel, but some poor finishes in rooms - plglug sockets, grouting. Constant traffic noise all through the day, but not excessively bad to be annoying. Would have been good if the advertised gym was available.

the staff was so friendly and a late check was no problem at all. I recommend to go to the pool in the other park just crossing the street

the hotel next (neighbor), they have a DJ on Saturday and Sunday, quite loud music, between 12-18. Can also be because I had an hangover on Sunday that I did not appreciate it

Perfect location with the use of the facilities at the sister suites opposite which was a much nicer pool area than the hotel. Good choice of food something for everyone It was my husbands birthday while we were there and the staff left a bottle of wine some chocolates and a lovely note which was much appreciated

Hotel a bit tired and rooms very dated Nothing going on in the hotel at all. No entertainment day or night you had to go over the road to the outside space which on a night was a bit chilly. Came back at 9.45 one night and there werent any staff at the bar at all so couldn't get a drink (we were all inclusive) again we'd have had to go to the suites which we didn't want to do also the all inclusive bar closed at 10 30 which is very early.

Pleasant stay.

Good location. Very friendly, polite and helpful staff throughout. Good sized rooms, large & comfortable beds and good housekeeping. Lovely Christmas day gala dinner and superb New Year Eve gala dinner - all staff pulled out all of the stops on both occasions to make for a memorable evening. All inclusive bar drinks much better than often experienced at other AI hotels. Will definitely stay again.

Evening bar service at Miraflore (sister apts. opposite) sometimes painfully slow. Evening entertainment needs improvement (and more of it). Food, although quite good, not varied enough and needs to be hotter.
